Daimler Truck and Bus Australia is a corporate group with a national dealer network supplying the best international truck brands. These brands include Mercedes Benz, Freightliner, and Fuso.


Motivated to transition from paper-based processes to digital ecosystems, the Daimler Group enlisted the help of 888 to create a platform that would help streamline their network. The platform would have to facilitate communication between the corporate team and their dealer network, be robust enough to house all corporate and marketing assets, and improve efficiencies for the entire business.


After searching the market, our team decided to develop a custom-built system using Adobe ColdFusion. This platform was chosen by our team due to its robust and secure systems and from there we were able to build Daimler Adsmart, a web-based system that is user-friendly and has been built with the capability to expand alongside corporate growth. Our team also developed a range of applications to be available within Daimler Adsmart to assist corporate and the dealer network to provide better and more efficient customer experiences. These applications can be accessed via mobile and desktop, and include tools like Admaker, quote requests and online vehicle specs.



The development and implementation of this custom-built system has resulted in several significant benefits for the Daimler group:
